Dr. Benjamin Haibe-Kains receives the Bernard and Francine Dorval Prize from Canadian Cancer Society

Congragulations to our very own Dr. Benjamin Haibe-Kains who was awarded with the Bernard and Francine Dorval Prize for a young investigator who has made outstanding contributions to basic biomedical research. As the Research at Canadian Cancer Society said on their official twitter page "Dr Benjamin Haibe-Kains, a leader in the field of computational medicine whose work has advanced precision medicine for cancer".



BHK Lab shines bright with multiple presentations at the 5th CCRC Conference

A team from the BHK lab composed of Dr. Hassan Mahmoud, Dr. Soheil Jahangiri Tazehkhand and Ian Smith presented their findings in a poster presetation at the 5th CCRC Conference. Dr. Mahmoud presented his poster on Transcription factor drug sensitivity model based on master regulators and protein abundance.

Venkata Manem, Meghan Lambie, Peter Smirnov, Ian Smith and Victor Kofia are published for their work on RadioGx publication in Cancer Research Modeling cellular response in large-scale radiogenomic databases to advance precision radiotherapy.
