The Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute has granted Benjamin Haibe-Kains a Junior Investigator Grant Panel Travel Award.
The Cancer Research Society funds the project entitled "Assessment if biomedical relevance of molecular subtyping in breast and ovarian cancers”
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Elham Salehi as a new postdoc in the BHKLAB. Elham will be working on developing a novel approach for high-throughput discovery of drug combinations using large-scale pharmacogenomic data. Welcome Elham!
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Zhaleh Safikhani as a new postdoc in the BHKLAB. Zhaleh will be analyzing next-generation sequencing data from large panels of cancer cell lines to investigate their association between novel genomic features and drug sensitivity. Welcome Zhaleh!
Our paper on the topic "Relevance of different prior knowledge sources for inferring gene interaction networks” was accepted in Frontiers in Genetics: Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. The paper's abstract can be read on the journal's web site. We congratulate lab members Catharina Olsen and Benjamin Haibe-Kains for their contributions.
We are excited to announce the launch of the new BHKLAB website!
Our review about "Enhancing Reproducibility in Cancer Drug Screening: How Do We Move Forward? " was accepted in Cancer Research.
