Rotation Student: James Hawley

James earned his Bachelor of Mathematics in Mathematical Physics at the University of Waterloo, and is now a Master’s student in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto. His research interest in bioinformatics grew out of his co-op placement in the Boutros Lab, and the University of Waterloo’s iGEM Team. He is now interested in developing mathematical models to study the underlying patterns and complexity of similarly structured biological networks.
