Postdoctoral Research Fellow: Janosch Ortmann

Dr Janosch Ortmann holds a Horizon postdoctoral fellowship at Concordia University in Montréal. He earned his PhD in mathematics at the University of Warwick, (UK) and then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto. He collaborates on a project to study the response to chemotherapy in patient-derived tumours implanted in mice. The first part of the project consists of the development of new statistical methods to quantify the response of a tumour to therapy. The second part develops applications of statistical tests and machine learning tools to linking the tumour's response to therapy with the patient's genomic profile.
