Visiting PhD Student: Jun Ma
Jun Ma earned his Master’s degree in bioengineering from Northwest University in China, where he now studies biochemistry and molecular biology as a PhD student. He is a visiting PhD student in the Haibe-Kains laboratry supported by China Scholarship Council. His research interests include analyzing data from The Cancer Genome Atlas to find out disease biomarker associated with heterogeneous molecular cancer subtypes, focusing on breast and ovarian cancers. His future research area will mainly focus on using co-expression network to reveal the link between genes and isoforms in breast and ovarian cancer subtypes.
