Visiting Student: Oliver Clark
Oliver obtained his BSc in Biology at McGill University in Montreal, with minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. During his studies at McGill, he conducted research in behavioural biology to examine the patterns of courtship calls in female songbirds and their underlying neural mechanisms. He currently studies Medicine at UCD in Dublin, Ireland, and is a volunteer at Systems Biology Ireland, where he is investigating specific protein-protein interactions involved in several childhood cancers. In the BHK Lab, he is working as a summer student to uncover non-coding RNA biomarkers to predict in vitro drug response.
