
Undergraduate Student: Sakeena Panju
Google ScholarSakeena Panju is a 4th year student in Engineering Science (Biomedical Systems) at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include using computational biology and machine learning for efficient drug repurposing in breast cancers. Prior to doing her undergraduate thesis in the Haibe-Kains lab, she worked as a full-stack software engineer for Bayer Inc. on an informatics platform (Radimetrics™) for radiation dose management in a medical imaging setting. Sakeena is a coder in practice and an oncologist at heart.
