Postdoctoral Research Fellow: Vandana Sandhu
Dr. Vandana Sandhu earned her Ph.D at University College of Southeast Norway, Norway. Her research focus was on using systems biology approach to integrated molecular analysis of transcriptomics and genomics data of pancreatic cancer patients. She was a Research associate in the Department of Cancer Genetics, Institute for Cancer Research, Oslo University Hospital Norwegian Radium hospital, Oslo, Norway where she worked on molecular and clinical data analysis of various pancreatic and lung cancer projects. Prior to her PhD, she pursued a Master of Bioinformatics at Department of Bioinformatics, Centre of Excellence, University of Pune, India. Using her experience in analyzing high throughput molecular data, she is currently investigating the early recurrence marker and molecular subtypes of pancreatic cancer patients.
