Undergraduate Student: Alexander Maru

Alexander is currently an undergraduate student at University of Waterloo, studying Mathematics and Computer Science. He is interested in a range of areas including machine learning, artificial intelligence, and the applications of mathematical models to computational sciences. His current project involves developing an interactive web interface for PharmacoDB/PharmacoGx to help in the analysis of large-scale pharmacogenomics datasets. After finishing his degree, he plans to pursue graduate studies in either pure mathematics or computer science.
