Emily Kaczmarek

Rotation Student: Emily Kaczmarek

Emily Kaczmarek is a PhD student in the Department of Medical Biophysics. Previously, she received her Master of Science in Computing at Queen’s University, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. During her Masters, she worked on a number of projects to better understand and diagnose cancer through microRNA-based deep learning, including interpretable clustering methods and graph neural networks. Her research interests include precision medicine and pharmacogenomics, multi-omics integration, and interpretable deep learning algorithms for cancer research.
