
Rotation Student: Emily So
Emily So received her undergraduate at the University of Toronto, specializing in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. She has conducted multiple bioinformatics projects in the past, focused on areas such as computational neuroscience and transcriptomics. She is currently an MSc candidate in the Department of Medical Biophysics, in the research stream of Data Science and Computational Biology. Her research interests are centred around applications of machine learning in bioinformatics and research in personalized medicine. In addition to her studies, she is a Solutions Scientist at Code Ocean, focusing on developing collaborative and reproducible bioinformatics workflows.
