Postdoctoral Fellow: Farnoosh Khodakarami

Farnoosh received her PhD degree in computer science from Tehran Polytechnic University. Her PhD dissertation was a work in the field of theoretical computer science, in which she introduced and designed novel algorithms in the areas of computational geometry and parameterized algorithms. She is interested in methods and algorithms in data science and machine learning. Using her background in mathematics and computer science, she is currently developing deep learning models to predict head-and-neck cancer patients’ survival from radiological images.
