Undergraduate Student: Jacob Kelly

Jacob Kelly is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto studying Computer Science, Math, and Statistics. Previously, he interned at Epson Research and Development where he worked on calibration of object detection and pose estimation algorithms for robotics applications. He is interested in developing new machine learning methods for applications to problems in cancer biology, medicine and healthcare. As a summer intern, he is working on methods for inferring gene regulatory networks from gene expression data and analyzing gene signatures for acute myeloid leukemia.
