Project Coordinator: Paul Brogee
Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree (Molecular Biology) in 2013, and a Master of Applied Science degree (Chemical Engineering) in 2019, from the University of Waterloo. His previous research focuses have included ancestral character state reconstruction of pathogenesis-related proteins in Arabidopsis thaliana, and the use of PhiC31 recombinase for recombinase-mediated cassette exchange in the Spodoptera frugiperda genome. Paul frequently involves himself in scientific outreach programs & events to help educate the public about subjects such as vaccines and genome engineering. As the Program Coordinator for the Computational Biology and Medicine Program, Paul works to execute the strategic vision of the CBMP, and to maximize the impact of its research.
