Project Manager: Shaun Shepherd

Shaun Shepherd received his Master’s in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University. During his graduate studies, Shaun has worked on multi-centre randomized control trials in implementation sciences and population-level research focused on immigrant and ethnic health disparity. After graduation, Shaun developed and implemented research database systems for a clinical research lab. Following graduation, Shaun served a staff at the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) where he has worked on projects to improve ease of access to grants for young investigators and improve equitable access to Canadian tri-agency grants for groups historically under-represented among awardees. As the lab manager, Shaun works to execute the strategic vision of BHK Lab across its multiple projects.
