Research Associate: Sisira Kadambat Nair
Sisira Nair received her Masters in Biotechnology from Amrita School of Biotechnology, India. During her graduate studies, Sisira has worked on the cloning of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to study the effect of neurotransmitters on embryonic stem cells. After graduation, she started working at Cellworks, India where she was involved in the modeling of cancer cells, analysis of cancer networks and drug resistance mechanisms. Her research interests include understanding crosstalks and pathways in cancer, pharmacogenomic data analysis and personalised medicine. In the lab, she is working on data curation, toxicogenomics and finding translatable biomarkers in AML.
