Postdoctoral Fellow: Soheil Jahangiri

Dr. Soheil Jahangiri-Tazehkand received his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from University of Shahid Beheshti, Iran. During his Ph.D. he worked on Comparative Genomics and Phylogenomics of bacterial strains. He was also a research assistant at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM), Iran, where he worked on Drug-Target interaction prediction and Protein Subcellular localization prediction using recommender system and machine learning methods. Soheil also holds a master's degree in computer science from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran. He is currently working on combinatorial therapeutic strategy in cancer.
